Mad As Hell and We're Not Gonna Take It ANYMORE!

Here we go -- Making Black History! This is my first blog entry. With so many things to bitch about, a group of 200 actually bitched louder than me. It was reported that the pissed off current or former homeowners opposed to the U.S. Federal Reserve's help in bailing out Bear Stearns jammed themselves into their building lobby and demanded assistance for struggling homeowners.

They had nothing better to do on a dreary, rainy, cold NYC afternoon?

The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America chanted "Help Main Street, not Wall Street" and entered the lobby without an invitation for around half an hour before being escorted out by police. When the story ran on CNBC, one of the on air reporters scoffed stating, they (the protestors) have no idea what they're talking about. The fed had to step in."

BULL $%^% %^%##! To put it mildly, businesses fail every day in this country. Small, medium, old, new and MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR CONGLOMERATES! That 10% of all businesses that register make it to year 2, just finally caught up to B.S., I mean Bear Sterns.

The leader of NACA stated, "There are no provisions for homeowners in this deal. There are people out there struggling who need help." He speaks as if Mr. and Mrs. Jim Homeowner were invited to the conference room. It only speaks of what the average guy really believes big business and the government really care about. Mr. NACA, they don't care about you. Kanye was more specific when we called the Pres out on TV for a fundraiser for Katrina but now two years later, everyone understands Bush a lot better. He doesn't't care about White, Blacks, Yellows or Reds. His loyalty has remained consistently green He's spending 30, make that 29 billion of our money to bail B.S. out.

But I digress. Back to the lobby.
The Bear employees that have worked for the investment firm for years were reportedly amused taking pictures on their cell phones. Let me think. If 30% of the company is owned by employees whose 401K's values declined 75X since last last summer. What the Hell's so funny?

They should be kissing the ground of JPMorgan executives feet when they raised their offer to about $10 a share. Let's face it. The country's screwed up right now. But if 200 people really feel that protesting makes a difference, God bless'em. I understood at an early age that this country is about dollars and sense and protesting stopped working in the 60's. Right now, the majority of the country has very few dollars, unfortunately it has less sense.
